  Welcome to Alpine Granite Fabricators website-we look forward to the opportunity of working with you!

My name is Dan Osborne the owner of Alpine Granite Fabricators-my newest creation! I got my start working for a huge tile company during my summer breaks while in college. I enjoy this line of work because as a kid I loved creating things and tinkering around. Learning this trade gave me the opportunity to continue creating things with my hands as an adult!

I was introduced to some very talented Italian’s and Romanian’s from the old country that took me under their wing. They took time to show me the trade from tiling to pulling mud on Roman tubs and walls to fabricating stone by hand.

After graduating from Eastern Michigan University and working as a professional, I decided I didn’t like repetitive work and went full time into the tile, stone, and marble industry.

I became a member of the Trowel Trades Union for nine years. I had the opportunity to travel the country working in casinos, hotels and schools laying Terrazzo and more. 

After learning the skills of fabricating granite from the old country to learning new technology; I opened my own business-Discount Tile & Marble, LLC in 1997 and recently created Alpine Granite Fabricators.

I enjoy coming to work daily-it’s a passion not a job. I love to be artistic and see the smiles I put on my client’s faces when I create their new work or living spaces with them.

Our new showroom is located near the base of Alpine Valley Ski Resort in White Lake Michigan. If you are looking for impressive inventories of granite, marble, exclusive tile along with popular brands that are sure to capture your eye we invite you to explore the possibilities of what we offer.

Alpine Granite Fabricators, LLC is the new entity under Discount Tile & Marble, LLC which opened in 1997 and has built a solid reputation as one of southeast Michigan’s trusted tile, marble, & granite organizations.
