ABOUT GRANITE
Granite is divided into five groups with each group representing a different price category. The price levels are based on availability, supply, and transportation. It has nothing to do with the quality of the stone.
As the level goes up, it typically means that the granite becomes more rare or exotic. The higher levels of granite typically have more colors, pretty patterns and grains. They tend to exist in remote locations where transportation is difficult. Many times these natural stones are only accessible during certain times of the year due to weather conditions.
